Kent Schools Biathlon Championships

KENT COUNTY SCHOOLS’ BIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP AND OPEN TIME TRIALS
Sunday 20th November 2011
Medway Park Leisure Centre, Mill Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 1HF
Years 5 – 7 & All Teachers Swim 50m, Run 500m, non transitional
Years 8 – 13 Swim 100m, Run 1000m, non transitional
Details:
- The Kent County Championship is not a qualifier for any other Pentathlon GB Biathlon, but swim/
- run times may be submitted for the National and World Biathlon rankings list which will qualify
- the top scoring athletes for the National Schools Biathlon series.
- Open to all Kent Schools from Years 5 – 13 (Minimum age 9yrs) and Teachers.
- Non Kent Schools may enter for swim/ run times subject to entry numbers but will not qualify for placing/ prizes.
- The Competition will be staged under Pentathlon GB Schools Biathlon rules (go towww.pentathlongb.org)
- By entering the Competition the school, competitor and their parents/guardians agree to abide by the rules and the Code of Conduct for Parents and Spectators.
- Entries will be limited and accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- Teams of 3 will be made up automatically from the top placed pupils in each class from each school.
- All schools must assign one teacher or parent to take responsibility of their competitors throughout the day.
- There is no minimum or maximum number of entries per school.
- Kent County Championship T- Shirts available to pre-order
Prizes
- The top 6 individuals and 3 teams per gender/ class
- Top Kent Primary & Senior School with highest average total of athletes score
